Sussex Spaniels shed a moderate amount — you'll notice hair on furniture and clothing, but it's nowhere near the level of a heavy-shedding breed. Most owners find it entirely manageable with a consistent brushing routine.

• Rubber grooming glove. Great for a quick going-over between proper brushing sessions. Dogs tend to enjoy it too.
